Al Muneef Signs MoU to study Establishing a Saudi-Turkish Fertilizer plant

Al Muneef Trading, Industry, Agriculture & Contracting Co. has announced the signing of a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Uniba Agriculture, Industry & Trade (Turkey) to study the establishment of a fertilizer manufacturing plant through a Saudi–Turkish joint venture.
The proposed project targets an annual production capacity ranging between 15,000 and 100,000 tons, with fertilizer types to be defined based on technical and economic feasibility studies. Estimated project costs range from SAR 22.5 million to SAR 112.5 million, with an expected 18-month timeline to reach commercial operation upon completion of all study phases.
This initiative reflects a strategic move to strengthen local manufacturing, expand international partnerships, and support the agricultural supply chain in the Kingdom.
