
Signing of the Executive Program for Agricultural, Livestock, and Fisheries Cooperation between Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman
On the sidelines of the Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition, and in the presence of H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah, Minister of Municipality, the Executive Program of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman in the fields of agriculture, livestock, and fisheries for the years 2025–2027 was signed. The agreement aims to enhance bilateral cooperation and further develop the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries.
The program was signed on behalf of Qatar by H.E. Mr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Ali, Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Municipality, while it was signed on behalf of Oman by H.E. Mr. Ammar bin Abdullah Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar.
The Executive Program seeks to activate the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two countries in Muscat on January 28, 2018, by establishing a practical framework to advance cooperation in agriculture, livestock, and fisheries. This includes implementing joint programs and initiatives, organizing mutual visits, and exchanging technical and professional expertise.
Both sides affirmed that the program represents an important step toward strengthening agricultural and food integration, supporting sustainability and food security efforts, and advancing comprehensive development in both countries.
