- As part of its ongoing efforts to stimulate food industries and enhance the added value of agricultural products, the Jordanian Ministry of Agriculture signed support agreements with a number of factories approved for funding under the Industrial and Development Cities Incentive Project.
The agreements were signed by Minister of Agriculture Dr. Saeb Abdulhaleem Al-Khrisat and include:
Al Ard Al Muqaddas Food Industries Company – to establish a specialized freeze-drying fruit and vegetable factory at King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area.
The supported factory area covers 1,626 sqm, with annual funding of JOD 21,138, disbursed upon operation. - Al Na’mah Feed Manufacturing Company – focusing on recycling organic waste into economically viable, high-nutritional-value animal feed, strengthening farmers’ climate resilience and agricultural sustainability.
The factory is located in Al Muwaqqar Industrial City, with a supported area of 1,626 sqm and annual funding of JOD 34,146, disbursed upon operation.
Dr. Al-Khrisat emphasized that these agreements align with the Ministry’s vision to enhance investment in food manufacturing, support food security, create jobs, and maximize the utilization of local agricultural production — in line with Jordan’s economic modernization agenda and sustainable development goals.
