Under the patronage of the Minister of “Environment”… Launch of the Annual Innovation Forum 2026 next Thursday

Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadli, the activities of the Annual Innovation Forum 2026 and its accompanying exhibition will be launched, with the participation of several entities and companies from the sectors of the ministry’s ecosystem. The event will take place on Thursday, April 23, at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh.
The forum aims to highlight the importance of adopting innovations and localizing modern technologies within the “environment” ecosystem, in order to achieve water and food security and environmental sustainability. It will also showcase the latest technological advancements in the sectors of the “environment” system in the Kingdom, in addition to enhancing and developing local content in these sectors and increasing their contribution to the GDP.
The forum will witness the launch of several research and innovation initiatives that support the localization of technology within the ministry’s sectors and contribute to achieving national objectives. It will also include the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding between the ministry and participating entities, in addition to organizing panel discussions, interactive sessions, and specialized workshops with the participation of experts and specialists.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has recently launched several initiatives focused on building and developing the innovation ecosystem, most notably the Technology Adoption Roadmap, the Saudi Alliance for Agricultural and Food Technologies, the National Platform for Research and Innovation Foresight “Nebras,” as well as the Intellectual Property Program and the Experimental Regulatory Environment Program.
