The Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water and Forests, Ahmed El Bouari, announced yesterday in Meknes that grain production for the 2025\u20132026 agricultural season is expected to reach around 9 million tons.
\nIn his opening speech at a high-level international conference held on the occasion of the 18th edition of the International Agricultural Fair in Morocco, which runs until April 28 under the theme \u201cSustainability of Livestock Production and Food Sovereignty,\u201d Mr. El Bouari stated that:
\n\u201cThanks to significant rainfall recorded across all agricultural regions of Morocco, the cultivated area for cereals has reached approximately 3.9 million hectares. Consequently, grain production is expected to approach 9 million tons.\u201d
